Keno Calculator: Odds, Payout and RTP
Pick 1–10 numbers, choose classic 80/20 or crypto 40/10, and enter the payout multipliers. This Keno calculator shows hit odds, gross return, net profit, RTP, house edge and expected net value for the complete table.
Click a number to select or deselect it. Both quick examples reset stake to 10 and remove the cap.

Gross-return multipliers by hit count
Enter 0 for no payout. A 1× return gives the stake back; 0.5× returns half. The number selection affects the simulated matches; probabilities depend on how many numbers you pick.

A payout can be smaller than the stake. Any-payout probability counts every positive return; net-profit probability counts only returns above the stake. Target gross return and net profit describe exactly the chosen hit count.

RTP contributions are percentage points (pp); their sum is the full-table RTP. A cap can reduce both a payout and its contribution.
Saved operator paytables — dated 6 July 2026. These ranges come from eight saved tables per brand: four risk modes, each with 7 and 10 picks in 40/10, without payout caps. They describe the stored multipliers, not a current operator RTP promise. The brand pages show each table and its assumptions.

How to use the calculator
- Choose 80/20 or 40/10 and select 1–10 numbers. Autopick chooses a new set of the selected size.
- Choose a saved Duel table, an illustrative profile or Custom. Saved Duel tables support 7 and 10 picks only; other counts require an example or your own multipliers.
- Enter the stake and target hits. Add a per-round cap if the game has one, and specify whether it limits gross return or net profit.
- Read the target outcome and the full-table results separately. Simulate draw illustrates one possible outcome using the same inputs.
Changing a saved risk mode loads a different paytable. Illustrative profiles generate different payout shapes at a target 94% RTP before caps; they are examples, not a casino offer. Custom mode keeps existing entries when picks or format change and asks you to complete any new hit rows.
How Keno odds and RTP are calculated
The model assumes a uniform draw without replacement. For a pool of N numbers, D drawn numbers, n picks and h matches, the exact-hit probability is:
P(H = h) = C(n, h) × C(N − n, D − h) / C(N, D)
C(a, b) counts combinations. At-least-hit probability is the sum of the exact probabilities from the target through the largest possible hit count. This is the hypergeometric distribution.
RTP is the sum of each probability multiplied by its effective gross-return multiplier. House edge = 1 − RTP. Expected net value per round = stake × (RTP − 1). If a cap applies, the effective multiplier is the capped gross return divided by the stake.
Classic 80/20
Twenty numbers are drawn from eighty. The home tool supports 1–10 picks. Use the odds calculator for other supported pick counts and draw settings.
Crypto 40/10
Ten numbers are drawn from forty. The one-number match rate is still 25%, but multi-hit probabilities differ from 80/20. Compare the formats in the crypto calculator.
Custom paytable
Here, Custom changes the multipliers for the selected 80/20 or 40/10 format. For a different number pool or draw size, use the paytable analyzer.
What the results mean
A high RTP describes average gross return over repeated rounds under the entered rules. It does not say how often a round makes a profit. Two tables can have the same RTP and very different payout frequencies and volatility.
For example, a stake of 10 with a 0.5× multiplier returns 5: it is a paying outcome with a net loss of 5. A 2× multiplier returns 20 and makes a net profit of 10. If a gross-return cap of 15 applies, that second return becomes 15 and the net profit becomes 5.
For a fair independent game, previous rounds do not change the next draw. The simulator uses local pseudorandom numbers to illustrate the model; it is not a number predictor or a test of an operator’s fairness.
For repeated-round expected value, use the RTP calculator. For the spread of possible payouts from a complete table, use the paytable analyzer.

Frequently asked questions
What does this Keno calculator calculate?
It calculates exact-hit and at-least-hit probabilities, gross return and net profit for a target outcome, plus full-table RTP, house edge, expected net value, payout frequency and profit frequency. You can select 1–10 numbers in 80/20 or 40/10 and edit every payout multiplier.
How do I enter a custom Keno paytable?
Choose Custom multipliers or edit any multiplier below the number grid. Enter a value for every displayed hit count, including 0 for a non-paying outcome. Multipliers represent gross return: 1× returns the stake and 0.5× returns half of it. Existing custom values remain when the format or pick count changes; new hit rows must be completed.
Are the Duel tables current or guaranteed?
They are saved tables dated 6 July 2026 for 7 and 10 picks in 40/10. Their calculated return describes those multipliers only. Check the current game table, payout cap and offer conditions before using them as a model of an operator game.
What do the illustrative risk profiles mean?
They are generated examples for comparing payout shapes, each targeting 94% RTP before a cap is applied. They are not operator paytables. Changing the profile, format or pick count generates a new example; selecting Custom or editing a multiplier switches to manual values.
Is any payout the same as a profitable round?
No. Any payout includes a return below the stake and a return equal to it. A profitable round requires gross return greater than the stake. The calculator shows these probabilities separately and applies the entered cap to both.
How is Keno RTP calculated?
For every feasible hit count, multiply its probability by the gross-return multiplier after any cap. Add those contributions to obtain RTP. House edge is 1 minus RTP. Expected net value per round is stake times (RTP minus 1). These are model averages, not a forecast of a session result.
Does choosing different numbers improve my odds?
For a uniform draw, any selection of the same size has the same hit probabilities. Number patterns, birthdays and previous results do not improve them. A fair independent next round is unaffected by earlier rounds. Autopick only chooses numbers; it does not find a better selection.
What does Simulate draw do?
It generates one local illustrative draw without repeated numbers and shows the matches, gross return and net result using the current table and cap. It is not connected to an operator or lottery result and does not predict a future draw. Changing an input clears the simulation.
